What makes Simone France different?
Quite a few things.
We’re a small family business, and your purchase is the beginning of our relationship—not the end. If you need help choosing or using your products, we’re happy to work with you personally.
We don’t chase skincare trends. We remain true to the philosophy Simone France developed and perfected over more than 60 years of working directly with women and their skin.
Our formulas are intentionally simple. But the real difference is how you use them.
With Simone France, the method is every bit as important as the products.
Can I use other products with the Simone France method?
For The Sandwich®, we strongly recommend using Simone France products.
The textures and formulas were designed to be layered and used together in a very specific way. Substituting products that weren’t created for the method can change the way The Sandwich® performs—and the results you get from it.
Can Simone France help with dark spots?
Regular gentle exfoliation can help improve the appearance of some surface discoloration and leave skin looking brighter and more even.
Deeper or persistent pigmentation may require treatment from a dermatologist.
Our philosophy is not to attack the skin with aggressive treatments, but to work gently and consistently over time.
What are the “anti-aging” ingredients in your products?
Actually, we’re pro-aging.
Simone famously said:
“What you take off your skin is just as important as what you put on it.”
We’ve never believed that one miracle ingredient can do everything.
Instead, we focus on gentle cleansing, regular exfoliation, thoughtful moisturizing and a simple routine that works with your skin rather than fighting against it.
Healthy-looking, smooth, glowing skin is beautiful at every age.
Where are Simone France products made?
Our formulas originated in France, but today our products are made in the United States.
Blemish Erase is the exception—it is still made in France.
Do your products contain parabens or sulfates?
No. Simone France products are made without parabens or sulfates.
Most of the scent you notice comes naturally from the ingredients themselves. In a few formulas, a small amount of masking fragrance may be used to neutralize the natural scent of an ingredient.
Are Simone France products tested on animals?
Never.
Our products are not tested on animals and never will be.
Does Cleansing Milk contain milk?
No. Despite the name, our cleansing milks contain no dairy milk or milk products.
“Cleansing milk” simply describes the soft, creamy texture of this traditional type of cleanser.
Do your products contain gluten?
Lovely Glow and Deep Moisture Mask contain wheat germ oil.
If you have a diagnosed allergy, sensitivity or medical concern about a particular ingredient, we recommend reviewing the ingredient list with your healthcare professional before use.
The Sandwich®
A rather unusual way to wash your face. And that’s the point.
The Sandwich® has been at the heart of Simone France Skincare for generations. Here are the questions we hear most often.
Why cleanse with milk and toner at night and do The Sandwich® in the morning?
Because the two cleansings have two different jobs.
At night, your priority is removing makeup, sunscreen, oil, and the buildup of the day. Cleansing Milk + Toner are ideal for that surface cleansing.
In the morning, your already-clean skin is ready for something different: the deeper cleansing and gentle exfoliation of The Sandwich®.
And there’s another bonus—you begin the day with that unmistakably fresh Simone France glow.
Wouldn’t soap and scrub make more sense at night, when my face is dirtiest?
It sounds logical, but makeup, sunscreen, and oil are better dissolved with a creamy cleanser such as our Cleansing Milk.
The Sandwich® has another purpose: cleansing and gently exfoliating freshly rested skin in the morning.
Think of it as two different routines for two different jobs.
Why does moisturizer go on first?
This is one of the secrets of The Sandwich®.
The first layer of moisturizer helps soften the skin and creates a cushioning layer before the Refining Scrub and Soap are applied.
After cleansing, you moisturize again.
It may sound backwards at first—but once you’ve tried it, you’ll understand why Simone did it this way.
Do I really need all those warm and cool water splashes?
Yes—we recommend following the method as Simone designed it.
The warm splashes help thoroughly rinse away the cleanser and scrub, while the cool splashes finish the routine feeling wonderfully fresh and invigorating.
It only takes a few minutes, and every step in The Sandwich® is there for a reason.
Can I reuse my Signature Cleansing Cloths?
Absolutely.
Rinse them thoroughly after using The Sandwich® and reuse them several times before discarding.
If you have significant acne or another skin condition where hygiene is particularly important, you may prefer to use a fresh cloth each time.
Won’t soap dry out my skin?
Not when it’s used as part of The Sandwich®.
Soap can be drying when used on its own. That’s precisely why The Sandwich® begins with moisturizer and includes our particular application and removal method.
The goal is to get the wonderful cleansing benefits of soap without leaving your skin feeling stripped or tight.

Orders and Shipping
What is your return policy?
We want you to be happy with your Simone France products.
Products may be returned within 30 days of receipt, and we offer a 100% money-back guarantee on the purchase price of eligible products.

Can I exchange something that isn’t working for me?
Absolutely.
Before giving up on a product, please contact us. Sometimes a small change in the way a product is being used—or choosing a formula better suited to your skin—can make all the difference.
We’re happy to help you personally.
When will my order ship?
We ship Monday through Friday from New York City.
Orders normally leave us within 1–3 business days.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes.
U.S. orders of $75 or more receive free shipping.
Orders under $75 ship to U.S. addresses for $8.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship internationally via DHL.
Shipping to Canada is $25 and shipping to other international destinations is $50.
Delivery times vary, and customs duties or taxes may be collected by the destination country.
Can I cancel my order?
If your order has not shipped yet, contact us and we’ll be happy to cancel it.
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled, but it may be eligible for return.
Can I change my order?
If it hasn’t shipped yet, probably!
Contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to make the change.
How can I check my order status?
If you have a Simone France account, you can sign in to check your order.
